Hostel
The library-cum-reading room of the institution is well-stocked with a collection of around 6000 books like magazines, national periodicals, journals, reference books and text books of each subject. A volume of books exclusively meant for all kinds of competitive examinations are reserved carefully to cater the students’ need to face any intellectual challenge of the competitive market.
Food Court
A healthy mind resides in a healthy body and for building a healthy body the role of hygienic and nutritious food is really important. The college provides a huge, well-furnished and comfortable dining hall having the capacity of taking around 450 students at a time.
Laboratories
Theory and research suggest that meaningful learning is possible in laboratory activities if all students are provided with opportunities to operate equipments and materials while working cooperatively with peers in a conducive environment. The college has well equipped well-lit and airy laboratories accommodating 32 students. There are separate labs for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Computer science to meet the curriculum demands and requirements for practical. In the labs all the experiments are designed to correlate the theoretical knowledge of students with the practical applications. Many meaningful experiments are assigned to students under the guidance of experienced faculties being assisted by demonstrators for each lab.
Physics Lab
The Physics Lab is a spacious hall. The lab is equipped with the latest equipments catering to the +2 syllabus where students carry out their experiments in an innovative environment.
Chemistry Lab
The well ventilated and hygienic lab of Chemistry makes the students to feel like a Scientist while mixing the different chemicals and getting exciting result to their surprise. That generates curiosity in the young mind to explore the world of science to discover something new.
Library
Library is the store house of knowledge. It boosts and enriches the intellect to attain a height. Books are the real food which sustains the intellectual body. We have maintained thousands of books with varieties like fbotanyions, legends, fables, periodicals, case studies, research, references, dbotanyionaries, educational CDs, DVDs etc.
Botany Lab
To provide first hand knowledge to the students about the subject, the botany lab is available with all the required specimens, thus helping students to acquire necessary skill and confidence for the clear understanding of the biological processes.
Computer Lab
Computer Lab is equipped with high tech IT facilities like multi-media and internet with around computers enabling students to surf internet and research information. The provision of Internet monitoring system is also adopted to supervise students’ internet use with selective site blocking for their protection.
Zoology Lab
The zoology lab has a unique collection of models, slides and specimens that attracts the students towards the prescribed syllabus of practical. More than 30 charts are displayed in the lab. The equipment in the lab are based on the latest technology.
Swimming Pool
The main attraction of the campus is the Swimming Pool with all modern facilities which improves the skill of swimming and provides an excellent exercise to the students. Swimming lessons are being imparted to them giving extra stress on safe swimming by qualified swimming coaches.
Cafeteria
The college is equipped with a canteen facility named as “SIP-GOSSIP” which is well maintained and blessed with family atmosphere, with a variety of food items, touched by a home made flavor, cooked to perfection and served with a great courtesy. A variety of fast food and snack items are provided to the students and staff of the college with highest quality. It is endowed with efficient service and a take away counter.
Transportation
For Communication of the students of city to the campus timely and safely we have a fleet of richly comfortable vehicles driven by a group of professional drivers who ply it to various parts of the city on every working day. To avail vehicle facility the Day-scholars have to pay a nominal fee either monthly or annually.
The Health Centre
The health center of the institution, rightly named “Sanjeevani”, possesses dedicated and experienced pharmacists and qualified nursing staff who pay round the clock attention to relieve the boarders from all sorts of mental and physical illnesses. Expert doctors are in regular attendance and some specialists visit the campus every week. Sanjeevani is equipped with minimum medicines required for common minor health disorders. For treatment of serious ailments some distinguished Nursing Homes of the town have been tied up with us. Vehicles are always kept ready to make the ailing boarders admitted to these Nursing Homes for indoor care in emergency situations.
Miscellaneous Facilities
The day-to-day needs of boarders who are away from parents’ direct care are well looked after by the institution to make them feel homely and comfortable. A step forward in this direction is providing them facilities of Laundry, Tailoring, Saloon and Cobbler. The college compound has well equipped modern laundry. The used clothes are collected, washed/dry cleaned, dried and ironed on daily basis. Students are allotted unique hostel ID that are marked on their clothes to enable them to differentiate their belongings. A well-trained in house tailor stitches custom fitted college and hostel uniforms and any other alterations as the case may be. Similarly well-trained barber and cobbler are available on weekends inside the hostels.
